Hunter Street Choir

The 175+ voice Hunter Street Choir is the primary worship-leading choir at Hunter Street and is the starting point for most adults desiring to serve in the music ministry. All soloists and smaller vocal groups are derived from the choir by satisfactory audition. This group rehearses weekly and leads worship in all weekend services. The choir also plays a key role in concerts and special events throughout the year. Child care is provided..

All talent/skill levels are welcome to participate.

  • No prior experience and no audition is required.

  • The adult choir rehearses Wednesday nights from 6:15-7:30pm in the Music Suite. Visit a rehearsal this week.

  • A commitment to faithful participation in rehearsals, weekend services, and special events is expected.

ensembles AND SOLOISTS

There are a number of opportunities to sing in small vocal teams, ensembles, and instrumental groups or to lead in worship as a soloist.

Pre-requisites include:

  • Church membership

  • Satisfactory audition and interview

  • Faithful participation in the Hunter Street Choir or Orchestra

Senior Adult Choir

Known as "The Joyful Singers," the Senior Adult Choir is one of Hunter Street's most active and beloved ministry groups. The choir sings all across the region and performs 2 "home" concerts each year, at Christmas and in late spring. The choir also makes an annual spring ministry tour. Participation is open to all adults 55-up

  • No experience or audition is required

  • Visitors and new members are always welcome

Rehearsals are on Wednesdays during the school year at 3:30pm - 5:00pm in the adult choir suite.
